Pros

  • There are a lot of instructions on this product, although complicated at first, if you follow the instructions correctly and take your time to read them, it will work.
  • The package come with the included sensors already paired with the base, so, all the owner needed to do was to change the passwords and include the phone numbers.
  • The door sensor works pretty good, every time the owner forgot to disarm, it goes off.
  • The system is good enough to keep safe the owner’s office.
  • The SecurityMan Air-Alarm system not the best system but is affordable and a good complement to your business security officer guard.

Cons

  • The door sensors don’t respond with a full out alarm until the door had been opened 3-4 times.
  • The motion sensor did not sense any motion until the owner was within 8 feet and standing directly in front of it and then only “twirped”.
  • The alarm did not go on until the owner stood 3 feet in front of it and waved her arms frantically.
  • When the alarm does call your phone number to report a break-in, it does not let you listen to what is going on in your home like it is supposed to.
  • The door sensors were very difficult to program.
  • The instructions do not tell you that you have to remove the batteries out of each door sensor as you program another door sensor.
  • The remote controllers quit for some unknown reason and each one had to be reprogrammed before they would start working again.
  • The owner wasted 2 days trying to figure out what she did wrong and spent an hour on the phone with tech support.
  • When the system calls, the owner can hear what is going on ONLY if the alarm is in the silent mode.
  • The motion detector is not the most reliable, but it also works, because the owner believes that the reliability has to do with the fact that it seems to read the environment every 5 seconds or so.
  • The system is suppose to work at a 450 ft range but at about 60 ft, the sensors would not work.
  • The alarm siren is not loud.
