This Internet Home Monitoring Camera has its own web server unlike the standard webcams requiring attachment to PC. It connects to a network directly through Wireless-N or wired Ethernet.

The Cisco-Linksys Wireless-N camera has a high-quality and high-framerate video compression that provides up to 640 x 480 sharp video streams. The real-time feed can be viewed on networked computers at home, RTSP-enabled smartphone or on a web browser.

Real-Time Security
When set to ‘Security Mode’, this Internet Home Monitoring Camera sends email alert with a short video attachment to up to 3 recipients when a motion is detected within its view range.

The included Viewer & Recorder utility allows you to record motion from multiple cameras into your local hard drive or shared network live or on a predetermined schedule.

This is a big advancement in camera setups. It’s actually easy.
It has very good low light performance and automatic light adjustment.

The power cord is very short. It is barely five feet long. This makes it difficult to properly position the camera without using an extension cord.
It is fairly difficult to see much detail – even with a dim nightlight.
It has some weird and loud noise in the recording. It may just be a defect but it’s bad for a first impression.
This camera only works with the included software that only runs on Microsoft Windows.
